Day 10 of 30 random things!
What's your most embarrassing moment?
Wow, I have to pick just one? I'm not sure I can. I get embarrassed really easily. Let's see... I had to get an epidural injection once, and they put me under for it. Apparently I wasn't thinking that morning that a couple of doctors and nurses would see my underwear that day. When I came out of anesthesia, the first thing I said to the nurse was "I'm wearing a thong, did everyone see it?" She was clearly having a bad day so with not even a little bit of a smile, said "Yep. I'm sure they all did," and then proceeded not to talk to me at all while I was in recovery. Thankfully, I was still pretty under, so I didn't feel the embarrassment until after the fact. I have a history of not making nurses laugh, because before my kidney surgery, I was laying on the table in the OR room and said, "This does NOT look like Grey's Anatomy." It was like hearing crickets. Although I guess I want medical professionals that are all business like that. I also get embarrassed anytime my husband tells me to turn left and I turn right. Or the time I told him J. Edgar Hoover was a president. That was pretty embarrassing.
