Wedding Shower

First off, my future in-laws rock.  Renee and Janet threw us an amazing couples' shower!  Second off, my Aunt Pam rocks for flying all the way from Arizona to see us and go to the shower.  The party had a musical movie theme (since both Philip and I love old movies).  We walked in to the shower on a red carpet, and there was a big projector screen showing songs from Singing In The Rain.  There was a "concession stand" full of great candy and a big movie theatre style popcorn machine.  They also had coloring pages for our little friends who were there (and also for some grown up friends who just like to color).

Opening my mom's gift.  It's a hankie that used to be a baby bonnet.  The tradition is that the baby wears it home from the hospital, and then carries it with her bouquet on her wedding day.

Unfortunately, baby Wesley and his parents couldn't make it, because Wesley was working on being extra cute, which takes a lot out of you.  But we did get to visit with him the week before!
