Day 16 of 30 random things!
What are your 5 greatest accomplishments?
1. Moving. I already wrote about this, but it was a huge step for me. I didn't go far for college, and I could always drive home if I needed to. Surviving that move was a huge accomplishment for me.
2. Having a wedding. It was not something I ever wanted to do, but I have to admit that it was really nice having the people I love there to celebrate such a great moment in my life. I didn't always handle the planning gracefully (Understatement of the year...) but I did it, with the help of my sweet husband and his sweet family.
3. Going back to school. Sometimes I'm still shocked at the fact that I'm in school right now. School was one of those things I always said I wanted to do (nursing school, that is), but I didn't think I could ever afford it or make time for it. My husband was SUPER supportive in this and pushed me without forcing me, and I'm glad I'm there now. It's every semester at a time, but I'll get there.
4. Performing a coffee house show. My senior year of college, I was asked to play a show at the coffeehouse across from our college. For most people, it was no big thing. Just an hour or so of playing. But it was HUGE for me. And I was terrified. But I really enjoyed it, and I'm glad I did it.
5. Getting my psych degree. I started college as an education major, and switched to psych about halfway through my 4 years. It was a huge decision for me, and jamming all of my psych courses into 2 years was tough. But I graduated with honors and was inducted into Psi Chi, the national honor society of Psychology.
